Held at their usual site on
the Lower Lacon caravan & camping site just outside Wem, Shropshire.
On September 28th,29th, & 30th

The band playing in the barn on Friday night
was Peppermint Monkey. This young band showed a lot of potential, unfortunately
one of the guitarists broke a string three quarters of
the way through the set, this did not phase them at all and
following Mick's lead carried on playing. From this outing they secured three more
bookings.
Peppermint Monkey was the only band due to appear Friday. Or so it was
thought till Dave Copson's Driving South arrived wanting to know where
to setup and play. They were shown to the marquee where they duly did their
set. Because of the confusion Stue, and several other club members,
spent the next few hours with mobiles warming their brains trying to
find a band to fill the vacant Saturday night spot. A band
from Rhyl called Fudged stepped into the vacant spotlight.
As you can see the marquee was packed
for Saturday nights head line band.
Shamus Oblivion & Megadeath Morrismen
who had the crowd leaping, gyrating and lurching around from the
first note.
Tonto did his usual sterling work with his exellent rock
disco on both days
Here's one for the ladies a male pole dancer.
Ever the vigilant and safety conscious Lou (off your butts mcc)
noticed that the dancers buttocks were over heating, and without any
thought to his own safety and before the dancers under pants burst into
flames,
rushed out and poured a cooling glass of beer down the crack between
his cheeks.

Over
the weekend some 600 plus people passed through the gate to eat, drink
and parrrrrrrty!
