Big Tim of the Oddballs mcc celebrated his half century, by hosting his own surprise  party, held on the 7th April at the Oddballs favorite venue Lower Lacon caravan park.

What kind of artist did you say he was? Tomo, Tim's son in law made this 'most excellent' banner. (Aaaaaagh! the kids have been playing their Bill & Ted videos again.)

Or is it Farther Christmas on one of his 360 odd days off The birthday boy. Gale, Nicky and Sam (Tim's wife and daughters) had a large birthday cake made for him by a local bakers. 'Teabag' was just outside the barn with his catering van for those who liked traditional rally fare. The bar was run as usual by the caravan park and also a wicked birthday "fruit punch" .

That curry I had for tea is better than ready brek for giving you that inner glow Tonto provided the music throughout the night and was aided & abetted by The wild stallions....... Nooooo!. (I'm goin' to burn those tapes). The Natural Born Swillers who did 2 most excellent sets ("..... an Waynes world to be on the safe side).

"Oi! Oo'er you takin' pictures of" And soon had the dance floor filled.

Can't wait to see this on 'You've Been Framed'. Choc doing his best David Attingbrough impersonation filmed the 'do'

"I've got dam cramp in this right leg again Sammy" Tomo shows Lucy and his wife Sam his prowess with the air guitar.

"Ahh! I can rember all the exotic and exciting places I visited on my journey. Like New York, Tronto, Paris, Berlin and WEM!" Word of the party spread far and wide, even to Brazil and caused around the world yachtsman  Biker! Thiago Peretti to make a stop over at Wem just so he could attend the party. Other party animals came from as far as Cannock!

As the night progressed the party atmosphere really got going Clare And Sue (Shatterford mcc) started snapping their suspenders

"Are you sure its not some kind of truss". Before any uk readers get "all hot under the collar". it was a pair of old bracers

"Ar' ya dancin'? Ar' ya askin'?"   Ever the party animal Tim strutted his stuff with Gale ( his wife) and other guests.

There was about 150-200 friends there with most local clubs represented. We left, around 12.30, while the party was still in full swing as we wanted to be up early to go to the Big Breakfast at Prees the next morning.
