Widening My Rear Mudguard
The seat strap mounting lugs have to go.
The chrome mudguard supports will need some weight loss surgery.

Making a splint.
To add a bit of strength.
Welding on the pannier support.
After applying and flatting some body filler,
next up was a few coats of primer
Then a few coats of blue metalic basecoat.
Inside and out.
And topped off with several coats of 2 pack lacquer.
Re assembly time.
As you can see the cut down fender struts have been powder coated black
This is temporary and they will be chromed next October if not before.
Nearly done.
Done! just needs a good clean an she's good to go.
